We are seeking a General Services Supervisor to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The role is 100% onsite.
The General Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all activities related to employee services and administrative support, including cafeteria operations, transportation services, travel arrangements, lodging accommodations for visitors and employees, and facility support services. This role leads the General Services team, ensures exceptional service delivery, manages vendor relationships, and provides administrative support to the General Manager while fostering effective collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and supervise the General Services team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and effective allocation of responsibilities.
- Manage employee attendance, leave requests, scheduling, and overall team administration.
- Promote a customer-focused culture and ensure high levels of service satisfaction.
General Services Operations
- Oversee daily operations related to:
- Employee transportation services
- Cafeteria and food service operations
- Company dormitory administration
- Business travel arrangements
- Lodging accommodations for foreign employees and visitors
- Monitor inventory and maintenance of office supplies, cafeteria equipment, dormitory assets, and transportation resources.
- Ensure services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and competitive pricing to maximize value and service quality.
- Prepare budget requests, financial documentation, and expense tracking reports related to General Services activities.
- Ensure timely processing of payments and support budget control initiatives.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support and respond to requests from the General Manager.
- Prepare reports, presentations, analyses, and executive meeting materials.
- Review, approve, and authorize official notices, activity changes, permissions, and related documentation within assigned authority.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain strong communication and working relationships with department leaders and executive management.
- Support the planning and implementation of cross-functional projects and company initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency and service quality.
Compliance & Audits
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to General Services operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Finance, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Administrative Services, Employee Services, Facilities, Human Resources, Hospitality, or a related function.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Required Skills
- Experience in Human Resources, Employee Services, Administration, Facilities Management, or related areas.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional employee support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, and service providers.
- English proficiency required.
- Mandarin proficiency a plus.
